Born and raised in the heart of the old city of Chania, Crete, my life has always been intertwined with nature and the mountains. This passion has evolved into a professional journey as a mountaineer, instructor, and guide, dedicated to sharing the beauty of the outdoors with others.

### Trusted Expertise and Unique Experiences
As a seasoned guide and instructor, I have had the honor of leading individuals and groups of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to experienced adventurers. My services have also been trusted by renowned figures, including politicians, journalists, and artists. Among them is the Prime Minister of Greece,
Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who has personally relied on me for safe and memorable mountain experiences.

### Educator and Mentor
For the past two years, I have been an instructor at the Public Vocational Training Institute (DIEK) of Chania, teaching in the "Hiking Leader" department. This role allows me to train and inspire the next generation of mountain leaders.

### A Global Adventure
With decades of experience, I have guided expeditions across Greece and internationally, including France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Nepal, Tibet, Pakistan, and the western United States. Some of the notable peaks I have climbed include:
-**Himalayas**: Baruntse (7,161m), Mera Peak (6,470m), Island Peak (6,186m), Tharpu Chulli (5,800m), and Naya Kanga (5,844m).
- **Europe**: Mont Blanc, Grossglockner, Zugspitze, and numerous peaks across the Alps, Pyrenees, and Apennines.
- **Greece**: Iconic ascents on Mount Olympus and Crete's dramatic landscapes.

My love for nature is reflected in my active participation in a wide range of outdoor sports, including:

- **Education**: Degree in Physical Education and Sport Science, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
- **Certifications**: Mountaineering and Ski Touring Instructor (Hellenic Federation of Mountaineering & Climbing), UIAGM IFGAM entry test for professional mountain guides, avalanche rescuer training (Anena, France).
- **Experience**: Trainer and leader in mountaineering schools in the Alps; guide for Himalayan expeditions.
- **Memberships**: Hellenic Federation of Mountaineering & Climbing, Alpine Club of Chania, Athens Alpine Club, and Club Alpin de Chamonix.
- **Professional Roles**: Over 21 years as a guide for tourist offices and companies; three years with The North Face Europe.
