When it comes to living in the mountains or with the local Greek people Trekking Plan offers reservations for the Psiloritis Refuge (Tubotos Prinos), at Ida or Psiloritis Mountain and the Kallergi Refuge, at the Lefka Ori or a private house all situated on a beautiful peninsula called the greenest part of west Crete.

Psiloritis Refuge 1.500m Prinos Tubotos

The Alpine Club of Rethymnon owns the refuge of Prinos Tubotos at the 1.500 altitude. Without being a mountain freak and to enjoy easier hiking /treks around the area of Psiloritis. Easy accessed by car or fit from the village Fourfouras or Kouroutes. The refuge offers at total 30 persons can stay the night, placed in two big rooms, but also in an open sleep area. Driven by gas, because the refuge has no electricity, the kitchen offers delicious variety of dishes like Greek salads and Greece food. Overnight is not includes breakfast, but you can ordered. Enjoy your breakfast coffee viewing the sun rise over the mountain,
it wills a memory that will last!

Svourichti 1.900m (Takis Holiopoulos) Refuge at the Katsiveli
The Alpine Club of Chania owns the refuge of Svourichti or Takis Houliopoulos. Is vivouac hut at the center of the Lefka Ori (White Mountains) is passible to sleep bed 11 to 15 persons and all the besing gear for nice stay for same days at the center of Lefka Ori.
